From 9th-13th February, 1915, the 1st Dorset battalion of 15 Brigade, 5th Division were in trenches at Wulverghem, south of the Wulverghem-Messines road. Patrick Sullivan died from wounds on 15th February after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast and it is likely that he was wounded during this period spent in the front line. |
